Bobby Barua, this book’s author and managing director of Legal Dynamix, has 20 years in-house commercial legal experience. In 2022, he decided to start his own consultancy business to give him autonomy and control over his destiny, which was impossible when working for others. His journey is still in the nascent stage but he looks forward to consulting with corporates and helping aspiring entrepreneurs embarking on their own ventures. He realised that although there were many resources available for aspiring entrepreneurs and businesses, there was not a single go-to guide to help start-ups navigate the myriad of issues (legal and operational) to consider. He set about writing his thoughts and spent months researching the many issues. The result was this book, which he hopes will help other start-ups as they embark on their journey.
